The Organisation
This page outlines The Organisation(s) behind the work and the workers in our part of Myanmar.

mission partners is the organisation who organise and send short and long term missionaries, like myself, to places all over the world to assist with the work being done there.
Who are they
mission partners is the working name of The Australian Presbyterian World Mission. It’s the cross-cultural ministry agency of the Presbyterian Church of Australia and as such, carries out the mission policies of the General Assembly of Australia administered by a Standing Committee, it reports to the General Assembly of Australia through the Convener, Dr David Pilgrim A.M. Each State Assembly has established a committee for world missions, which takes responsibility for those matters delineated in “Partnership In Mission” Mk II (2001 and amendments) – the Policy Document of the national body. States’ interests are also represented at meetings of the National Committee.
The Policy of mission partners, broadly speaking, involves establishing and maintaining partner relationships with a number of International and Inter-denominational mission agencies (“Partner Societies”) and with a small number of Presbyterian/Reformed churches in other countries (“Partner Churches”).
Partner Church missionaries (like myself) are appointed by, and work under, the direction of the Partner Church in the country in which they serve.
