This page details some of the many workers at the Evangelical Reformed Church (ERC) and its Bible college, the Reformed Bible Institute (RBI). Names below are listed alphabetically, NOT hierarchically)

  • Elder Ah Nann
    • An elder of ERC in new planted Church in Endaing nearby Yangon. He has a big family and is in charge of the RBI farm. He has full responsibility of the 22-acre rice paddy farm which grows rice each year for RBI and for sale at market.
  • Be Nwee
    • Graduated from RBI and now serving as its dean of student and part-time teacher. Involved in evangelism and Church planting ministry as well as teaching young ministers in the ministerial in-service training program in Chin State. Will be in India from July ‘09 for further M.Div. study at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Dehra Dun.
  • Isaac
    • Recently graduated student who has been appointed as the warden over approximately 60 school children in the lower Chin State town of Sami. Thang Bwee’s ministry provides for them rice and stationery items.
  • Joshua
    • Thang Bwee’s right-hand-man as of 13th Jan ‘09. Responsibilities will increase over time, in the beginning he’s overseeing bookkeeping and distribution of some educational materials. He also works in cooperation with Thang Bwee’s sone, Benjamin, with literature work, computerised office work and various other tasks.
  • Rev. Moe Lwin
    • Pastor of a local congregation of ERC and part-time lecturer of RBI
  • Mor Dang
    • Sunday School coordinator for all ERC churches in the Yangon area
  • Nelly
    • Thang Bwee’s wife assists with office work, computer work, cleaning, and providing lunch for visiting ministries and special occasions.
  • Rev. Pri Su
    • One of the senior ministers of ERC among the Khumi tribe in Chin State. He has a big family with 5 children living together with him and 2 others are married. He is in charge of the training centre in Chin State and to help raise his family he works partly in farming too. He visits churches for preaching and teaching the Word of God.
  • Pyi Sih
    • Graduated from RBI and now serving as its Warden, overseeing RBI students. Involved in evangelism together with students as well as teaching young ministers in the ministerial in-service training program in Chin State. Also involved in Sunday School teaching.
  • Ram Uk
    • Graduated from RBI in 2004 and served as dean of students and part-time lecturer in RBI. Is now doing further study at Presbyterian Theological seminary in Dehra Dun, India. He is supported by the Presbyterian Church of Australia through mission partners. Upon return in 2011 he will be a great help to ERC and RBI
  • Rev. Dr. Thang Bwee

  • Tin Soe Hlaing
    • Ggraduated from RBI in 2004 and now serving as warden to look after school children who are living nearby the training centre in Sami, Chin Sate. Also ministers in a local congregation of ERC.
  • Elder Tun Hlaing
    • An elder of ERC, a taxi driver and one of the faculty members of RBI. Teaches basic English to students and is the accountant of RBI and ERC.
  • Van Lal Siama
    • Graduated from RBI in 2004 and served as Thang Bwee’s previous right-hand-man. He has now gone to USA for a 2 year M.Div program at the Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary (PRTS) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Upon return in 2011 he will be a great help to ERC and RBI.

Occasionally, graduate RBI students will partake in rural training. These include Rev. Pyi Su, Pyi Sih, Pa Bawh and Be Nwee.
