Rev. James. Mang Khen Thang, founded the Free Reformed Church of Myanmar (FRCM) on May 1st 1997 and the Grace Bible Seminary (GBS) on June 1st 2000.
He is currently the senior Pastor of FRCM and principal of GBS, both of which are located in the Yangon suburb of Insein (pronounced insane).
James writes, “My uncle was the first Christian among the Chin people, and my father is our Moderator at present.”
“The FRCM“, he continues, “was started with a view to teach and preach the Reformed Faith, and the GBS was started to indoctrinate the Reformed Faith everywhere through the luminis.”
James has 12 years Pastor Service, leading in Bible Translation to Ngawn-Chin. He was born in 1966 and has one child, Peter, and is married to Ma Chin Hmoi.
